Category: Domestic
Status: Clean Title

I have a 1998 Ford SVT Cobra for sale, in Other - Ontario.

Asking price is $16,500

I am selling my highly-modified 1998 Cobra. She is a black on black 1998 Cobra coupe, 14K original miles on chassis, very limited mileage on professionally built motor and drivetrain (mostly dyno time). Engine is a 305" 5.0L "Big Bore", Diamond pistons, Eagle rods, forged cobra crank, bowl ported B-heads, short runner intake with imrc's removed, accufab single blade throttle body, new oil pump w/ SHM billet gears, polished Vortech V7 YSi supercharger, custom blower return line w/ fittings (no leaks), AFM Powerpipe, SCT BA-2800 90mm MAF, K&N Filter, Alky-Control Methanol Injection w/ Vortech Resovoir, MSD Ignition, MSD Coils, Ford Racing 9MM wires, Pro-Formance C-4 Race Built Transmission- Reverse Manual Valvebody w/ pro-tree trans brake, SFI Bellhousing, Edge Racing 4000 stall converter, B&M Ratchet Shifter, B&M transmission cooler, Lokar dipstick, Steeda Ultra-Cool aluminum radiator, custom chromoly driveshaft w/ safety loop, 4.10 gears, '97 Fuel tank, Big Bosch Fuel Pump, Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator, UPR Fuel Rails, 60LB Injectors, all braided lines, Hooker longtube headers, 3" Custom X-pipe, 3" Mac Flowpaths dumped, Weld Racing Pro-stars w/ new MT Sportsman fronts and 28x12.5 ET Streets, Team-Z Motorsports Complete Rear Suspension, frame tied, Corbeau Forza seats, bolt-in roll bar w/ removable door bars, rear seat delete, Taylor battery relocation to trunk w/ Optima Redtop, Autometer Phantom Oil Pressure and Boost Gauges, SVO Monster Tach, Autometer Shift light, 3.5" HO Fibertrends Cobra R Hood, Stainless Steel Bumper Inserts, etc. etc. etc. the list goes on. All work and tuning done by Alternative Auto, top quality parts and workmanship. Absolutely no expense spared on this beast. Never been raced so I have no idea what it runs. Should go 10's as is with conservative pump gas tune, faster if you turn up the boost. Car was built for the NMRA Renegade Class. I have all invoices from Alternative, original window sticker, SVT documentation and clean carfax. Sacrifice for $16,500 obo. I am located in Ontario. Please PM me if you're interested, thanks for looking.

Here is a video clip of the car idling. I apologize for the terrible quality. It was a very windy day and I'm not the best videographer nor have the best camera but it gives you an idea of the car. The blower sounds wicked and can be heard from a distance as can the exhaust. I think she wakes the dead in China .

Thanks! I have decided to keep the Mystic for the time being unless of course the right offer comes along.

Nice looking sled man, with a ton of work done to it. Someone could score a great car for a great price, free bump to the top.

Thanks guys.

It's got a bolt-in roll bar with removable door bars which are currently removed.
