• Each car is fitted with a custom Shelby Performance hood with pins, and a brushed aluminum grille with running horse emblem (instead of the Cobra the SVT version has.) A unique front fascia with integrated lower grille, and a set of body side scoops – very reminiscent of a classic Shelby Mustang gives this version a distinct look. The Mustang GT brake calipers, can be seen through the GT-H’s 18-inch wheels wearing P235/50ZR18 performance rubber.
• In typical Shelby fashion, the motors are not stock Ford GT. Ford Racing Performance Group is supplying its popular Power Pack (FR1) to add an additional 25-horsepower bump to the 300-horse Mustang GT 4.6L V-8 and an increase of 10 lb.-ft. of torque. The package includes Ford Racing’s 90mm Cold Air kit, the Muffler Kit, a new X-pipe similar to the one used on the new SVT version, a performance calibration and a cat-back performance exhaust gives the car a unique throaty sound.
• The cars come with five-speed automatic transmissions and a permanently engaged traction lock control.
• The Shelby version comes with Ford's Racing Handling Pack (FR3) installed, including special-tuned dampers inspired from the FR500C, lowering springs, sway bars and a strut tower brace – plus a Ford Racing 3.55:1 ratio rear axle assembly for greater off-the-line acceleration
• Hertz Shelby GT-H sill plates and a numbered dash badge with Carroll Shelby’s signature inside the cockpit

 

Well the picture looks good but I would like a close up of the Shelby plaque and serial number. I also belong to team Shelby and I could be wrong but to the best of my knowledge the only Shelby GT Verts are 2008s and come in Vista Blue with silver stripes. I am the proud owner of CMS # 1124 Auto/coupe still at Shelby waiting Whipple S/C. Please feel to correct me if I am wrong, just asking the question.

 

The description tells it all. 500 special order Shelby GT-H convertibles were built for Hertz in 2007. The public could not order or get one. This is # 264 of the 500 made. Its real and documented with paperwork from Shelby in Las Vegas, Hertz and Ford.

I don't think you're going to have much luck posting on ads that are two to three years old - no offense, just a suggestion. Besides that, if you look at shelbygt's post count, he obviously just joined to post his ad to sell the car - I don't think he would even see your post.

Maybe if you're interested in these cars you should send a Private Message instead of responding to a two year old thread and you might have better luck getting your trade.
