Parting out my '85 GT

Well, I'm parting out my '85 GT. I'll be swapping all the drivetrain into a newer vehicle.

Both Doors, in excellent condition minimal rust. Pass door has light surface rust along the bottom inside edge but mint otherwise. Manual locks and windows, power mirrors. Asking for $150 for the pair with 89 GT door panels

Hatch, white with some surface rust easy to fix. Can't go wrong at $50firm

83-86 Hood, nearly mint from an '86. Flat black $50 firm

85-86 GT Front bumper in Excellent condition, flat black with headlights and foglights and brackets $150

Front fenders, pass fender needs some repair as it was dented $40 for the pair rust free. Easy fix

87-89 GT rear seats in great condition, grey $50

87-93 Quarter windows, decent shape $50/pair

Aluminum Spare, 4 bolt will fit all 79-93 Mustangs and is super lightweight $75

Stock 8.8 rear end from '90 GT, 3.08 gear could use one drivers side outer bearing $125

And I'm sure there's more but I'll post it up later.

Is this car a complete roller once the drivetrain is removed? Is it original flooring? Hows the rust? I may be interested for a future retoration Project. Pics would be great and a price on the rolling car.

If you want the car with the front spindles, Eibach's, Koni's and rear end then I can make a deal with you.

The front spindles are actually from a 92 5.0, so yes they will work.

EDIT I forgot to mention, the car is a typical 20 year old Mustang. The doors, hatch and front clip have all been replaced. The quarters are in very good shape with some light surface rust around the inside of the wheelwell. The floors are alright, the front most section is rusty and has a small hole in either side. The body overall is in pretty good shape, it has little rust for a car its age. I believe it only has about 140 original KM on the body. This car was a show winner about 5 years ago, but it got into the wrong hands and didnt do as well. We can probably figure something out as a complete rolling chassis.

Not really, but I'll see if I can borrow a digi cam and take some detailed pics of it. I have one or two pics on my cardomain site but they're not exactly up close. I'll get you some.

Hey man,

What about the front seats? The carpet inside? I have a 1985GT and I am in the process of rebuilding it. For one thing what colour is the interior? I also need a suspension too. Please let me know. What kinda wheels does she have on her too? I am looking for Weld Drag Lites.

Thanks

The interior isnt '85-86 anymore. It has 87-89 GT rear seats and door panels, and while it was in storage my GT front seats were stolen so now its got some crappy grey LX seats. The dash is cracked by the stereo, and so is the dash pad. The carpet is from a '90 and needs a cleaning. So basically, the roof liner, door panels and rear seats are the highlights in the interior. It has some 15" ARE 5 spoke wheels on it. Suspension is alright, its lowered, could definitely use balljoints. I may wind up keeping the springs and Koni's, but we'll see.

Hey SS,
I could use the doors and hatch....what colour are they, not that it really matters. I wouldn't mind picking up the whole thing as a roller but that would stretch my mod budget for the summer and I'd have no where to keep it....
