Is there a buyer for this car?

Is there a buyer for this car?
The current appraisal is $53,500.00 and has not been appraised this season, which would include further suspension upgrades, quite a few more expensive show pieces under the hood...and a brake upgrade.
I've got roughly $67-$70k spent including the price of the car. I probably couldn't dig up all the receipts cause I hid them from the wife and forgot where I put them. But I could easily produce my ongoing tab at Steeda.ca which is around $26k. Add the interior...wheels...gears etc...and the total will be in the vicinity.
16,500 kms on the clock
around 6000 kms on the current rubber
about 2500 km on the blower set up
To say the thing has been babied is the understatement of the decade.
I ordered the car from the factory as a loaded 2000 GT 5 speed (without electric seats and cruise control)...for the purpose of having and building a nice toy.
If there is a buyer for this car...they'll likely know what a fair price would be. And the price would exceed the MSRP on a new loaded '05...but would be less than the current appraisal. If there isn't a buyer...I'll likely spend another $25k on the fuggin thing.
There are pending mods already paid for awaiting install (Cobra tank and pumps which will eliminate the BAP...a show quality gas tank cover and straps...and a polished aluminum power-steering tank and cap)

It's a beautiful machine. Sadly, you won't get anything close to it if you sell it complete. I'd say 30k MAX. I'd part the thing out and go back to stock and sell the car that way.

I hope this doesn't turn into a debate thread, but I need to reply to comment.
The person who would offer a fair price for this car, would know about the car and how it was treated. He already said he wouldn't let it go unless he's satisfied anyways, and obviously an offer of $30k wouldn't be anywhere near that. I can't see someone who just wants a Mustang stepping up with the kind of money that would be fair for this car. Of course, if they do, all the better.
I would agree with your statement of a max of $30k if this was a car that driven every day and $70k of upgrades installed to make it go fast and look better, that'll be a fair statement. But this car is as close to a trailer queen as you could get; would be true if he had a truck and trailer or his garage has wheels - no offense Tim.
I will honestly say, if I didn't have the Cobra, and I had the cash, I'd be walking to his house right now, I live up the street, to give him a certified cheque.
Hey, what's that in the sky? Is it a plane? Is it a bird? Is it Superman?
No, it's a cloud! :laughhard

I totally understand your take 89....but that's the reason why I titled the thread the way I did.
CobraCory knows the car...and I think he summed it up.
If I can't find "the buyer"...no worries.
FYI...I would've responded earlier but I was out in the garage...bathing the car in Z8...I'm not kidding.
