I'm going to put headers on in the shortly, any views as to short tube or long tube headers , I'm looking at hedman heders . Does anyone have any opinions on them , I'm leaning towards shot tubes as they will be the simplest to install and I wont have to do major work on the exhaust . Thanks Des

 

yeah, go with shorttubes if you don't want to mess much with the exhaust... you can also look at BBK or Edelbrock as well as far as brands go...

 

If you look at the V6 manifolds, they are basically tube headers anyways. If you want headers, put in longs. Why replace the shorts with more shorts?

 

What I was going to say. Mine has shorty headers. Looking at them, they're not too far off the stock ones. Only shinier.:biggrin:

 

Mac is probly the cheapest your going to get.
BBK is better quality, but more $$$.

Id do long on a GT, but shorty's on a sixer.

 

Mine are Mac, and the pair cost less than one stock manifold from Ford.
