Question Newb the Tires! Need help!

Hey guys so im going to go ahead and order my self a staggered set of 18x9 Black Saleens from AM for the front and 18x10 pair for the back. My problem is I need a good gripping tire, Its my DD, but I want something that hooks up real well as I like to really give her from stops. I will not drive in snow, probably just a summer tires and they are good rain and sun! Im thinking 295/35/18 rear and 265/35/18 front, what are some good brands and where can I get em relatively good price.

If ordering from AM usually they have packages with Nitto tires which would do the job quite nicely.

I probably wont order from AM, had some trouble with them recently. Got my black Saleens used locally from a guy with a mach 1 around here for 500. I just wanted to know some good brands for wet and dry weather, no snow! I was thinking actually a 265/35/18 x 295/25/18 but further looking into it I dont want the bigger tire etc to ruin performance I was thinking 245/40/18 x 275/35/18.

On a 18X10, you do not want to go smaller then 285. Your gonna want some sort of side wall on those rims.

Wow....that's the first time I've heard someone say they had trouble with AM. What was the trouble, and didn't they rectify the problem? With my experiences with them, the minute they realized I wasn't 100% happy about something, they called me immediately and wanted to send out new parts asap.

Oh I didn't realize that you had the wheels already. I know Nitto is a pretty popular Mustang tire but they are not as easy to get as the "big brands" and I'm not sure how their prices are. I've used BF Goodrich G Force T/A before and liked them.

Yea im really quiet disapointed, essentially what happened was I ordered some out of stock product (which I was not aware of at the time) Canceled my order and was waiting for my money back. Cause usually they either take it out or put a hold on it. Week went by no money, called them and they said its still on hold, or the banks not releasing it to me, called the bank they said it was completely removed from my account there is no "hold". Then AM doesnt beleive me they said they didn't take it and its up to bank, long story short they have nearly a 1000 of my dollars and the bank has filed a claim and im really pissed I may never see a thousand of my buck again...

Yea nitto I heard is a real good brand, same with sumitomo and BF Goodrich from what I here, and appreciate that 1LOWGT, I will be getting a 285/35/18 back and something like a 245/45/front or something.

I will, it's been a terrible experience cause I can clearly see the withdrawal right from my account and they keep insisting it was only a hold, its been WAY too long it would have been back by now. Feel like a near grand got jacked and I cant do sh** to my stang cause they are the only decently priced site.
