Opinions On My Tire Look!

89 fox mustang with some 235/45/17 Front and 245/45/17 back on Cobra R originals.
Im riding on Eibach Sportsline springs.

Not sure I like the look of the bigger sidewall at 45 series? What do you guys and gals think? Seem the Nitto 555 have bigger sidewall then some other tires.

Was thinking 235/40/17 front and 245/40/17 back.

My front tires hit the outside lip now so dont want any wider in front. (offset is 15mm instead of reproduction crobra at 17 or 18mm, seems to make a difference)

What do you think, I appreciate the opinions, been starring at it for a few hours.

I think it looks awesome, sweet fox by the way! As long as it doesn't rub over the bumps I'd keep it as is. Sweet sweet car!!!

Thanks

Thanks, she is pretty clean, well try to keep her clean.

It rubs a bit in front on the upper lip. Always had lower profile tires. Guess it just takes some getting used to.

Any body else run 235 40 17 in front.

What is your camber set at? A bit more negative camber will tuck the tires in at the top, and improve front grip. Just don't want too much, otherwise you can get excessive inside tire wear.

cheers

I will play with camber a bit if I decide to keep the set up. Might try to find some used 235 40 17 to see what it looks like in front. Appreciate the opinions.

Nice.....

I like it. The tires/wheels fill out the wheel wells.
